NBA

The big stuff has happened in the NBA lately, including the death of an NBA legend and arguably the GOAT, Greatest of all Time, Kobe Bryant. Kobe was killed in a helicopter crash along with his 13-year old daughter, Gianna. They were among nine people killed in Calabasas, California, USA. Kobe was on his way to a basketball game where Gianna would be playing in. In other sports news, Zion Williamson made his debut against the San Antonio Spurs on January 22,  scoring 18 points but losing to the San Antonio Spurs.

Along with that, two days before the death of Kobe, Lebron James passed Kobe for the most points all time. Kobe finished with a total of 33,643 points and Lebron passed that with a total of 33,655 points to become the NBAs 3rd highest scorer of all time. The leading scorer is Karrem  Abdul-Jabber then it’s the Mailman, Karl Malone

The Land Down Under

Right now, the Australian open is under way and Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Roger Federer are still dominating in the Australian Open. Roger Federer, my favorite, just barely got past an American named Tennys Sandgren saving SEVEN match points.  receives obscenity warning in a bizarre match, and winning the match. Australian fan favorite, Nick Kyrgios was taking down by Nadal. What also happened was the end of fan favorite, Coco Gauff’s run,

Serena Williams’ early exit and much more.

NFL

The NFL Playoffs just came to an end and the final two teams that are in the Super Bowl are the Kansas City Chiefs for the AFC and the San Francisco 49 for the NFC. The odds are that the Kansas City Chiefs are going to win my 1.5. points against the 49ers. The last time these two teams met was on September 23, 2018, when the chiefs won 38-27. Other news is that the AFC beat the NFC in the Pro Bowl skills showdown and in the Pro Bowl.

Other News

The MLB sign stealing scandal has fired the Houston Astros head coach because of the sign stealing scandal. (More news in the coming future)
