Subnautica is the one of the best survival games on the internet today. It’s like Minecraft but underwater. It is adventurous, creative, fun, thrilling, and scary at times. Although this game cost money to play, it is worth the money. You get to dive into the deep ocean and explore amazing creatures and unknown territories. Dive with me into this article, into SUBNAUTICA.

Plot:

The plot of Subnautica is very creative and adventurous – the plot is that you are in a spaceship going to save someone on an alien planet. But your ship gets shot down by a mysterious weapon. You get in an escape pod/ life pod to escape the ship. Your life pod lands in water and your ship explodes. You find out that there were other survivors with life pods, but your life pod landed in the only safe place. And all the other survivors died to mysterious creatures. You find out that your ship was shot by a giant alien gun. You find out that there is a disease on the planet, so you get infected and the main objective of the game is to cure yourself.

There are alien bases around the map, and you must explore them. There are also wreckages around the map of your ship. In wreckages you can find blueprints for special things you can make. Your crashed ship also has special blueprints you can get by exploring your crashed ship. In the alien bases you get artifacts to go into other alien bases.

At the end you find the last alien base with a creature called the Sea Emperor and you must make a device to hatch her children. After you make the device you put it in a mainframe and the children’s hatch. The Sea Emperor is the only creature without the disease, so you cure yourself with the children’s vomit. I know disgusting but it is what it is. After you are cured, you get a signal of a rescue ship and you build a Rocketship to escape the planet and go back home.

Things to know about:

That is only the plot, let me tell you all the details and fun things about this game. You can make submarines in this game to explore the deep areas of the alien planet ocean. There are 3 submarines to use and explore the deep waters of the planet. First is the Seamoth, the seamoth is a small and good submarine to start with. It is small but good to travel around to find amazing things like different species of fish and plants. The second submarine is the Cyclops, the cyclops is the biggest vehicle here. The Cyclops is for exploration and collection. The Cyclops has lockers to store things you want to keep or special items. The final vehicle is not really a submarine, it’s a mech suit. The Prawn Suit is a vehicle that is for going deep and getting resources. The Prawn suit is very useful for going deep. You can use it to go into places your other submarines can’t. You can use it to go to the very deep places to get resources.

Areas around the map look very cool. There are dangerous places around the map with creatures that could kill you. For example e Creepvine area is good for getting resources for making special items. Another example is the Lost river. The lost river is a very dangerous place with a creature that could destroy your submarines, but good for getting resources and discovering new things. The 3^rd picture is the lava zone, the place with a bigger creature that could kill you easily, and the lava zone has the final alien base. The 4^th photo is a mushroom forest. The mushroom forest is very good for getting blueprints for submarines and base pieces. There are many more areas like the Grand Reef, The Dead Zone, Blood Kelp zone and many more!

Making a base:

Throughout the game you must make a base. In the base you can make lockers and put them around your base to store your stuff. Building a base is a really fun part of this game. There are many things you can make for your base. Each base part has a purpose for you to build it. Building a base in this game is like building a home in Minecraft.

Creatures:

There are many harmless creatures and very dangerous creatures, but in this part let’s talk about the dangerous ones. First the Reaper Leviathan, the reaper leviathan is a big creature that is dangerous, it could destroy your submarines and eat you. It will roar, if it is very loud it sees you and it will come for you.

Another Scary creature is the Ghost Leviathan, the Ghost Leviathan is very dangerous and could almost destroy any submarine with 1 hit. It will do a high pitch scream when it sees you. There is a baby one and an adult one, both are extremely big.

Those first two are very big creatures but there is bigger, meet the Sea Dragon Leviathan. The sea dragon leviathan is extremely dangerous; it will vomit fireballs if it sees you. It can destroy all vehicles in 1 hit.

Another creature is small but still very dangerous, the Warper is a creature that is small but if it gets close to you it can teleport you to a random place that you don’t know. If you get teleported, you could get lost.

This creature is very dangerous for submarines, the Crabsquid. The crabsquid is a part squid and part crab. It can release a natural EMP that can suck all your power out of your submarines.

The last creature is not dangerous but peaceful. The Sea Emperor, this creature is very peaceful and only wants her children to hatch and grow. Although it is the largest creature in the game.

Many people think that this is the best survival game yet, I agree. This game is so fun, and you get to explore so many things that actually could be real that we do not know.
