Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker! Movie review
WARNING! SPOILER ALERTS!
As the Saga comes to a finale, epic battles and impossible missions keep you captivated, throughout the movie. When Last Jedi came out, many people hated it and I was doubtful if Lucasfilm could pull off the last film in the saga with a bang! I thought that it would come out as a small pop That would fizzle out and leave the audience in disappointment, but no!
The last movie lived up to standards, reintroducing Palpatine the galactic senator, still alive from necromancy and cloning. We see that Snoke was a clone of Palpatine when Kylo Ren spots the green holding tanks with baby Snokes inside, which leads to the conclusion that Snoke was actually Palpatine’s clone! the story is amazing and explains things in a way that all makes sense. when I saw Rey striking the Stormtroopers carrier with lightning, I knew that she was related to Palpatine in an instant! turns out she was the granddaughter of Palpatine and Darth Vader.
This made sense since when I thought of the movie title: Rise of Skywalker, I thought of Rey instead of Kylo Ren, and now that theory is proven right, since Rey is related to a Skywalker: Vader! I think that fans would have loved the scene where all the people of the republic banded together and fought the Empire, but my favorite part was actually the golden lightsaber! you see, in the history of the Jedi there have been a few main colors: Yoda’s green, the classic blue, Mace Windu’s purple, and even the first Mandalorian has had a Dark saber, but never was there mentioned a golden yellow light saber, and I just loved how that fit in with the attitude of the movie. Overall, it was a great movie, but there is ONE thing that I still want to touch on for this article.
Palpatine always said, that if you killed him or any other Sith then you would become more evil, but in the end, when Rey obliterated him, she did not become any less pure Jedi than she was, so I have the means to believe that Palpatine was somewhat bluffing. I think he DIDN’T want to die, and so he made up the foolish story. After all, Kylo Ren also killed Snoke, but in the end, became good, so that just proves that even Palpatine’s so said ‘Truth’ is based on lies. Which means that Palpatine is a really good liar too, because he hid under the Jedi council’s nose for decades, and also deceived Anakin and almost did the same to Luke. And so, I call bluff now, because Palpatine has no proof and had only used this theory to weaken others and make himself stronger.
I loved Star wars, and I am sad that this amazing Franchise will end the Saga, but never the less, the movie was spectacular and the very best, and I think it safe to say, it ended with a bang.
Nice Description of what happen throughout the movie, I also liked the movie a lot when everyone bands together against the Sith. The ending is somewhat like Avengers Endgame how all the heroes come back and fight Thanos. But in this movie it is people that fight with the Jedi.
I really liked that movie
