Hey, do you ever stress out at school and need advice? If yes, you have come to the right place. I have researched and discovered how to deal with stress based on the types of problems, so all you need to do is relax and read this article without any pressure (That was a tip:). Let us look at what kind of stress there is and what we can do about it.

What is stress?

Stress is a feeling that you have a lot of pressure on your shoulders caused by difficult and complicated situations. Our bodies give us an immediate respond of hard and challenging work or situations in our lives. Some people can handle stress, while others cannot control the stress and have significant issues in their lives. For example, dealing with homework about to be done could add more stress to our body.

The impacts of stress

Like I said before, stress is harmful to our lives IF we have too much. What is the difference, you ask? Having too much stress can harm our health, physically and mentally. When you deal with too much stress, you can easily get mood swings, have negative thoughts, and can also get lack of sleep. For physical harm, it can lead you to have a stroke (meaning to pass out from not enough blood circulation in the brain), or more dangerous problems that could happen.

Benefits of having stress?

Even though I said that stress is a sad thing, it can also be a good thing! How? You need stress to focus and to get on with it, like motivation. Having too little stress makes you not care about due dates and causes you to have a bad reputation. But if you have the right amount of stress, you can have the motivation to do things at the same time rest.

How to deal with it

Now since you know what stress can do, you still do not know how to deal with it. There are multiple ways to solve stress, well, at least reduce the pressure. Here are a few ideas of how to deal with stress. The list is down below, just you know.

  • Take a break! Your brain is not made for dealing with this much work, so do things that can try to relax. For example, drawing, watching your devices, going take a walk, so much more that I cannot even count how many ways there are.
  • Talk to someone you can rely on: You know there is at least that one person that you can talk to about anything, right? You can talk to them, since that can release stress by talking, and the best part? It does not affect anyone! That is the good thing about talking to someone you know that can support on.
  • Write about your feelings: If you want to express how you feel but you do not want anyone to know, you can just write about it either on paper or digitally. Write it anyway, and if you want to show this to people, that depends on who you are showing it to (meaning only people who won’t take it as a negative thought) and they can see how you feel right now, and they will try to help you.
  • Avoid unpleasant habits: When dealing with stress, having to deal with unhealthy habits Add’s more pressure to either your studies or other problems you must deal with. So, I would recommend stopping those unhealthy habits by distracting yourself. How? You can take a walk, listen to music, draw, watch devices, etc. My personal favorite is drawing and reading since it makes me forget about what I was worrying about.

At the end of the day, we talked about stress, negatives, benefits, and how we can solve it. We can now relate to stress in the modern world with more support and more solutions, though simple solutions can solve a big problem. That is all for now, more advice coming soon!
