Bali, Indonesia Travel Review:

Bali, Indonesia is overall a great place to visit! The weather around October is a bit humid and warm, but there are many of places to visit, including Gates of Heaven Temple, Monkey Forest, and the Tegalalang Rice Terrace.

The Monkey Forest is a park full of monkeys, similar to a forest. The monkeys may be adorable but are extremely naughty. They will steal your belongings, like things in your bag, food, hats, and sunglasses. My brother had a tug-a-war with a monkey with a hat. They also will jump on you; they love to go especially on your shoulders. Don’t look the monkeys directly in the eyes, they will get extremely livid. Also, it is better if you don’t feed them, they will follow you everywhere and probably get sick from whatever you give them. But the Monkey Forest is a very thrilling place to visit, and you certainly will have a laugh when visiting there.

Next, we have the Rice Terrace. There are so many things to do at this place. You can explore the beautiful green scenery with amazing tree and flowers, swing over amazing sights, and go ziplining. I thought the most fun was the swing. You would be put on an extremely high seat overlooking a cliff. Then you would swing speedily through the air at such high speed and height, it felt like a roller coaster. If you are scared of heights, or are very sensitive to motion sickness, you should do the less extreme swings.

There are so many more exotic places you can visit in Bali. Here I have listed a few of my favorites. A few great hotels and villas to stay at are the W Hotel, Annora Bali Villas, and Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort. Also, great restaurants you should visit are Kynd Community and the French restaurant, the Metis. Sadly, not a lot of the exotic places aren’t anywhere near each other, and the traffic is terrible. Sometimes, it took 3 hours to just get from one place to another. But, it is always worth it in the end. I hope you visit Bali, Indonesia soon!
